Debuting with an all-new black paint scheme, the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V “Black Edition” looks quite stealthy.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V has gained a new “Black Edition” model which ushers the bike with a brand-new all-black colour scheme. Priced from ₹1,20,420 (ex-showroom, Delhi), this special edition model will be available with the base disc brake/drum brake variant only.
Giving the bike a nice menacing and stealthy look, the black paint has been applied from the headlight cowl to the tail section, the fuel tank and side panels and the exhaust too. But aside from that, the rest of the bike has remained essentially the same.
So, it continues to be powered by the same 15.82 bhp/ 13.85 Nm, 159.7 cc, single-cylinder engine paired to the five-speed gearbox. Just like the standard bike, the Apache RTR 160 2V ‘Black Edition’ is available with three ride modes as well – Rain, Urban, and Sport — the settings to which can be controlled via the ‘mode’ button on the right handlebar.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V ‘Black Edition’ continues to sport the same hardware components as the standard bike. This includes a telescopic front fork and dual gas-charged rear shocks. The 17-inch alloy wheels are shod in 90/90 front and 110/80-17 rear tyre.
Feature-wise, the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V is available with an all-digital TFT dash that supports Bluetooth connectivity via the TVS SmartXonnect, which also comes with voice assist.
