TVS Apache RTSX Design Patented, Launch Soon?

TVS was clearly not kidding with us when it showcased the RTSX supermoto concept earlier this year at the 2025 Auto Expo. For now design patents of the same were recently trademarked and it seems the brand could make it a reality. 

The Apache RTSX is expected to feature the company's RTXD4 engine—a 299cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder powerplant. TVS claims the engine is good for 34 bhp and 28.5 Nm, capable of propelling the supermoto from 0-100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds. 

In keeping with supermoto design principles, the TVS RTSX will be suspended by an upside-down fork and a monoshock. It rolls on 17-inch wheels with wide tyres. It is supposed to be light, as the concept tipped the scales at 144 kg. 

The detailed patent illustration further reasserts TVS’s ongoing strategy to enter new motorcycle segments. It will be entering the adventure segment with the RTX 300 and the RTSX is likely to be an off-shoot of the same. However, the arrival of the latter will not be anytime soon.
