The TVS HLX 150 was first made available 10 years ago in Africa.
TVS Motor Company earlier this week announced that the brand has crossed the milestone figure of more than 3.5 million customers in international markets with its TVS HLX line of two-wheelers. First made available 10 years ago in Africa, the HLX line of commuter motorcycles is now sold across 50 countries including Latin America and Asia.
Currently, TVS’s HLX line-up is comprised of six variants which include the HLX 150 X, HLX 150, HLX 125, HLX Gold 125, and the HLX Gold 150. The 150 variants are powered by a 147.49 cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 12.3 Nm at 5000 rpm and 12 bhp at 7500 rpm. The 125 variants are powered by the 124.53 cc engine that produces 10.86 bhp at 8000 rpm and 10.8 Nm at 5500 rpm. These are the same engines that are also used in our Apache and Raider, however, the tune has been slightly changed in these bikes.
Some of the standout features of the HLX range of commuter motorcycles include trapezoidal LED headlights, a semi-digital speedometer, a front disc brake, and an eco-charging port.

We are celebrating the milestone by launching the TVS HLX 150F – a product that has been shaped by some very specific insights provided by our customers,” said Rahul Nayak, Vice President, International Business, TVS Motor Company.
