The electric three-wheeler vehicle deployment will follow a structured timeline.
TVS Motor Company on Tuesday joined hands with Kadam Mobility through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to introduce 500 units of the TVS King EV MAX electric three-wheelers throughout FY 2025–26. The partnership targets enhanced eco-friendly public transportation solutions in metropolitan areas and major urban centres across the country.
The electric three-wheeler vehicle deployment will follow a structured timeline, commencing with test operations in designated areas during the second quarter of FY25-26. Kadam Mobility will gradually expand both vehicle numbers and service coverage areas in a phased manner.
"The TVS King EV MAX, engineered with a strong focus on performance, range, and comfort, is well-suited to support Kadam Mobility’s mission of enabling clean last-mile and passenger mobility for everyone in need. Together, we aim to drive impact at scale, while also supporting employment generation and dignified livelihoods in the mobility sector," Rajat Gupta, Business Head – Commercial Mobility, TVS Motor Company, said, in a statement.
The partnership intends to create meaningful job opportunities while promoting environmentally conscious urban transport. Kadam Mobility aims to provide employment prospects for women and marginalised communities, and help them choose dignified career paths in the growing electric mobility sector.
The new vehicles will become part of Kadam Mobility's broader electric transportation network, which encompasses vehicle deployment, charging station infrastructure, and comprehensive driver education programmes. The TVS King EV MAX features a 179-kilometre operational range, TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth integration, rapid charging technology, and durable construction designed for commercial use.
“At Kadam Mobility, our mission is to transform last-mile and passenger mobility through electric-first, partner-centric solutions. Partnering with TVS Motor Company gives us access to industry-leading vehicles and engineering excellence," said Anubhav Swara, Founder & CEO, Kadam Mobility.
The inaugural fleet of TVS King EV MAX vehicles is scheduled for deployment in June 2025.
