TVS Gets Offers for The iQube Till March 31

TVS is offering significant benefits on its popular iQube electric scooter. These limited-time offers are only available till March 31, 2024 and buyers can offer benefits up to ₹ 40,564 depending on the location of purchase.

The biggest chunk of the savings comes from the FAME II subsidy of ₹ 22,065, which is set to expire at the end of the month. The Indian government has yet to announce if the subsidy program will be extended.

On top of the government subsidy, TVS is offering a ₹ 6,000 cashback as well. Additionally, customers opting for the "No Cost EMI" will receive an extra benefit of ₹ 7,500. The extended warranty costs ₹ 5,000, but during this promotional period, it's available for a discounted ₹ 1,000.

It's important to note that these offers are not available nationwide. TVS is only extending this promotion in select cities and dealerships. We speculate this could be a stock clearance effort by TVS in anticipation of rising EV prices after April 1.

The iQube is powered by three lithium-ion batteries with a total capacity of 2.25 kWh. With a full charge taking around five hours, the iQube offers a claimed range of 75 km. The electric motor produces 4.4 kW of power and 140 Nm, enabling a top speed of 40 kmph in Eco mode and 78 kmph in Sport mode. TVS claims a 0-40 kmph acceleration time of 4.2 seconds.
