The TVS Jupiter, Apache series and the iQube electric scooter were largely responsible for this significant growth in business.
TVS Motor Company reported that it ended FY 25 by recording its highest ever revenue at ₹36,251 crore which was 14 per cent more than ₹31,776 crore revenue it recorded in FY 24. Out of this total, ₹9,550 crore came up from the last quarter which was 17 per cent more than the ₹8,169 crore it recorded in the last quarter of FY 24.
This massive growth in business primarily comes from the fact that TVS sold 13 per cent more two-wheelers and three-wheelers in FY 25 at 47.44 lakh units, as against the 41.91 lakh units it retailed in FY24. When it comes to its two-wheelers, TVS sold 21 per cent more scooters last financial year at 19.04 lakh units, and 10 per cent more motorcycles at 21.95 lakh units.

TVS’ motorcycle sales were primarily dominated by its Apache series which cumulatively 4,46,218 units in FY 25. This was 18.02 per cent more than the 3,78,072 units it retailed last financial year. While this was a good growth in business for TVS, the Apache series is still lagging behind Bajaj’s Pulsar series of bikes, which cumulatively retailed 13,25,816 units. Even when Bajaj's Pulsar bikes registered a dip in cumulative sales in FY 25 of 6.04 per cent.
On the other hand, sales of TVS’s 125 cc sporty commuter the Raider 125 has also dipped by 16.43 per cent in FY 25 with just 3,99,819 units sold throughout the year, as against the 4,78,443 units it retailed in FY 24. This drop in sales can be due to the launch of brand new 125 cc bikes like the Hero Xtreme 125R and the new Bajaj Pulsar N125 – both of which are much sharper, aggressive-looking and sporty to ride than the TVS Raider 125.

When it comes to the brand’s scooter sales, it was the TVS Jupiter that was driving the majority of sales here. TVS sold a total of 11,07,285 units of the scooter (both 110 cc and 125 cc combined), which was 31.06 per cent more than what it retailed in FY 24. This means that the last update that saw the Jupiter 110 gain a new body design, and a bunch of new features has really worked well for the brand. However, on the contrary sales of the Ntorq 125 has remained stagnant though for the brand retailed just 3,34,414 units in FY 25, which was just 0.77 per cent more than the 3,31,865 units it retailed in FY 24.

TVS continues to register massive growth with its electric scooter, the iQube. In FY 25, sales of the iQube grew by a whopping 54 per cent, by registering sales of 0.76 lakh units. And while TVS claims that it sold 2.79 lakh electric scooters in FY 25, SIAM data reveals that 2,72,605 iQubes were sold in FY25 which was 43.5 per cent more than the 1,89,896 iQubes it retailed in FY 24. Thus reasserting TVS’ dominance in the electric two-wheeler segment.
