TVS has launched a new top-spec variant of the XL100, called the XL100 Heavy Duty Alloy. Priced at ₹59,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new model expands the XL100 range to five variants.
The Heavy Duty Alloy variant is the only XL100 variant to feature an LED headlight and includes a USB charging port. The alloy wheels replace the traditional spoked wheels found across the rest of the lineup, offering both aesthetic and practical benefits for puncture repairs.
Despite the new wheels, kerb weight remains unchanged at 89 kg, matching three other XL100 models. Only the base Heavy Duty variant weighs 1kg less at 88 kg.

Beyond those changes, the TVS XL100 Heavy Duty Alloy variant shares its mechanical components with the rest of the range. It continues to be powered by the 99.7 cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 4.3 bhp and 6.5 Nm. Suspension components and drum brakes at both ends remain unchanged from the standard lineup.
The TVS XL100 operates without direct competitors in its segment. The closest alternative is the electric Kinetic e-Luna, priced between ₹69,990 and ₹82,490.
