The Ultraviolette F77 Mach2 will officially launch on April 24.
As Bangalore-based manufacturer of premium electric motorcycles, Ultraviolette gears up for the launch of another F77 motorcycle the brand has released a new teaser. Slated to be called the F77 Mach2, a name that continues to pay tributes to the aviation industry – the latest teaser manages to give us a quick sneak peek as to how the motorcycle will look like, but most importantly – what is the Ultraviolette F77 Mach2.
Like all two-wheelers and four-wheelers around the world, even Ultraviolette needs to update its sole offering the F77, and the upcoming F77 Mach2, is in all probability, the same.
So, as is the case with most updates, we can expect the UV F77 to gain some additional features. Aesthetically, the teaser didn’t present anything radically different. However, cosmetic updates in the form of new colour options can very well be added to the mix.
On the other hand, the current F77 is already available with one of the biggest battery packs ever seen in an electric two-wheeler in India at 7.1 kW. And this same pack has created quite the noise for being reliable and retaining 95 per cent of its life even after 1,00,000 km. So, the same will most likely remain unchanged. The marque is also offering a battery warranty for up to 8 lakh kilometers/ 8 years.
Ultraviolette has been very vocal about its obsession with aviation techs since day one. The names of the UV F77’s ride modes – Glide, Combat, and Ballistic – are further proof of the same. The latest teaser has also hinted very subtly that there might be a new ride mode, that might make the electric bike more performance-oriented than the existing ‘Ballistic’ mode.

The Ultraviolette F77 is currently available in three variants - Airstrike, Shadow, and Laser. The ex-showroom price starts from ₹3.80 lakh, and with the limited Space Edition, it will almost set you back by ₹5.60 lakh. Given the updates the upcoming UV F77 will debut with, we can expect it to be priced close to the ₹4 lakh mark.
