Ultraviolette Automotive has announced that their recently launched F77 Space Edition has been completely sold in just 90 seconds. The Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition is limited to just 10 units, and is a tribute to the Chandrayaan-3 lunar exploration mission. The company calls it ‘is a fusion of cutting-edge technology and aerospace-inspired design.’
The standard F77 electric motorcycle costs Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom), but the exclusive aerospace-inspired F77 Space Edition is priced at Rs 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Online bookings for the F77 Space Edition commenced at 6 pm on August 22, 2023. The reason for the significant difference in price is because of all the extra kit the Space Edition gets over the standard version.
The powertrain on the F77 Space Edition produces slightly more power than the F77 Original and Recon variants. The Space Edition churns out a peak power 30.2 kW and a peak torque of 100 Nm. The electric motorcycle is capable of doing 60 kmph in a claimed 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 152 kmph. The claimed IDC range stands at 307 km on a single charge.
