The limited-edition F77 Space Edition pays tribute to Chandrayaan-3 lunar exploration mission.

Ultraviolette Automotive has announced the launch of a limited-edition variant called the F77 Space Edition. The Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition is limited to just 10 units, and is a tribute to the Chandrayaan-3 lunar exploration mission. The company calls it ‘is a fusion of cutting-edge technology and aerospace-inspired design.’

The standard F77 electric motorcycle costs Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom), but the exclusive aerospace-inspired F77 Space Edition is priced at Rs 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Ultraviolette will open online bookings for the F77 Space Edition at 6 pm on August 22, 2023. The reason for the significant difference in price is because of all the extra kit the Space Edition gets over the standard version.

The Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition gets custom machined aerospace grade-aluminium. Aluminum 7075 is a high strength alloy used in these components has an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and a tensile strength comparable to that of many steels while being significantly lighter. Owing to this, it is often employed in parts like aircraft structures, defence systems and various applications, especially in aerospace and military industries.

Furthermore, the F77 Space Edition gets aerospace-grade paint which is said to guarantee exceptional corrosion protection, UV and fade resistance, chemical resistance, and thermal stability. In addition, the paint helps in enhancing the overall performance, contributing to efficiency by reducing drag. Even the key is claimed to be made from aerospace-grade aluminium and is crafted out a single piece of metal.
