Ultraviolette Shockwave Confirmed for Q1 2027 Launch with 100V Architecture

Bengaluru-based electric vehicle manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive has announced that its upcoming Shockwave motorcycle will be built on the company's newly developed 100V architecture and is scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2027.

The transition to the advanced 100V platform brings potential for stronger power delivery, higher thermal efficiency, and faster charging capabilities for the brand's lightweight electric vehicle platform.

Conceived as a lightweight ‘Funduro’ motorcycle, the Shockwave draws inspiration from the raw, spirited performance character of classic two-stroke motorcycles, targeting pure and unfiltered riding enjoyment. In preparation for its commercial rollout, Ultraviolette has officially confirmed that the motorcycle will be offered in both single and dual-seat configurations to cater to varied riding preferences.

Ultraviolette has already commenced setting up a dedicated assembly line for the Shockwave within its existing manufacturing facility. Backed by prominent global investors including TVS Motor Company, Zoho Corporation, and Qualcomm Ventures, Ultraviolette is also the first Indian electric manufacturer to secure European certification, currently exporting to 20 countries.
