Ultraviolette Automotive had a shocker with not one but two launches. After wowing the crowd with the Tesseract electric scooter, it launched the Shockwave electric enduro bike at ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India). However, this price will be available to the first 1,000 customers after which it will increase to ₹1.75 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Pre-bookings open on March 5 for a token amount of ₹1,999 and deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2026.
Not much has been revealed about the Shockwave but Ultraviolette says the enduro has 505 Nm of torque at the wheels. The electric enduro weighs just 120 kg. Like the Tesseract, Ultraviolette has not mentioned the battery size of the Shockwave but said it has a claimed range of 165 km on a full charge. It can also do 0-60 kmph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 120 kmph (claimed), helped with the 14.5 bhp on offer from the electric motor.
The Shockwave is available in two colour options – Cosmic Black and Frost White. It also looks par for the course as an enduro with a beak-like front fender, covers for the front shocks, spoke wheels, a thin body and a seat spanning from the fuel tank to the tail. While the Shockwave is available as a single-seater as standard, there is also an option for a dual-seat configuration. The Shockwave gets six levels of regen and four levels of traction control. It gets dual LED projector headlamps and LED taillamps.
At the front, the Shockwave has a 37 mm cartridge-type front fork with 200 mm travel and at the rear, it gets a mono shock setup with 180 mm travel. The Shockwave has a 19-inch spoked wheel at the front with a 270 mm disc and a 17-inch at the rear with a 220 mm disc.
