The Bajaj Pulsar 220F has largely remained unchanged barring small cosmetic and features updates ever since it was first introduced in 2007.
Bajaj has officially announced the launch of the updated Pulsar 220F at a price of ₹1.28 lakh (ex-showroom). In this new iteration, the Pulsar 220F gets subtle updates over the outgoing model, although largely the motorcycle remains unchanged. Let us look at what has changed from the pre-facelift model.
The design of the Bajaj Pulsar 220F remains unchanged. The only notable cosmetic updates are the addition of two new colour options namely Black Copper Beige and Green Light Copper along with refreshed graphics. The other two options – Black Cherry Red and Black Ink Blue – have been carried over to the updated motorcycle.

Previously, the carbon fibre-themed decals were restricted to the front fender. With the latest update, Bajaj has expanded this treatment to the headlight cowl and side panels, enhancing the motorcycle’s visual appeal. In terms of features, the updated Pulsar 220F now gets sleek LED turn indicators instead of older bulb units.
Rest of the equipment and specifications remain the same. The Pulsar 220F continues to offer a digital instrument console that comes with Bluetooth connectivity, Ride Connect app integration, and turn-by-turn navigation. However, it still misses out on a gear-position indicator. Despite rumours, the bike doesn’t offer dual-channel ABS. Braking duties are carried out by front and rear disc brakes aided by a single-channel ABS.
Powering the Bajaj Pulsar 220F is the same 220 cc air/oil-cooled engine that delivers 20.4 bhp and 18.5 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
