The latest spy shot strongly indicates that the updated Suzuki Access 125 is likely to arrive in 2025.
It is no secret that Suzuki has been working on a new generation of the Access 125. We had already spotted test mules of the same before and the same was spotted again in a new avatar, primarily with a new body design.
While the overall family scooter persona will remain the same, some key design changes will be attributed. As seen in the spy pictures, the headlight cowl looks beefier than the current scooter. The front apron gives off a slightly sportier vibe with a more aggressive and sharper protrusion. Similarly, while the overall appeal of the rear section remains the same, the rear mudguard and the heat shield of the exhaust design are redesigned, which is expected to make the scooter look sleeker than before.

Currently, the Suzuki Access 125 is powered by a 124 cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 8.6 bhp and 10 Nm. This is expected to remain the same. However, just like how Hero MotoCorp updated the new Destini 125 making the scooter more fuel efficient, by optimising the CVT gearbox – we expect Suzuki might do something similar to its popular 125 cc scooter to make it more frugal than now.
The Access 125 has been the dominant force in the 125 cc family scooter space and with the new generation, Suzuki will hope that its footing remains strong for years to come. We think that the new Access 125 could arrive by the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, which is going to take place in January, 2025.
