Varroc, an auto components manufacturer, has launched Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries for two-wheelers. The battery capacities range between 2.5 AH and 9 AH, which makes them compatible with all major two-wheeler OEMs. Varroc has a range of eight batteries; you can check them out in the table below.
Battery | Capacity (in AH) | Price |
---|---|---|
2.5 LC | 2.5 AH | ₹1,099 |
VTZ4 | 3 AH | ₹1,299 |
VTZ4A | 4 AH | ₹1,369 |
VTZ5 | 4 AH | ₹1,559 |
V5LB | 5 AH | ₹1,589 |
V7LB | 7 AH | ₹1,849 |
V9LB | 9 AH | ₹2,399 |
VTZ9 | 8 AH | ₹2,399 |
These batteries will come with a 48-month pro-rata warranty, meaning the warranty is activated on the date of purchase. Varroc claims the batteries have been designed for a service life of more than four years and have a very low self-discharge (0.003V/day) rating.
The batteries are made with 99.99 per cent pure active material and calcium alloy, which Varroc claims improves performance and reduces corrosion. Varroc’s batteries will be available through its 730 distributors and 50,000 retailers across the country.
