Maruti Suzuki will announce the prices of the Victoris on September 15.
Maruti Suzuki unveiled its latest compact SUV, the Victoris, in India on September 3, and will announce the prices on September 15, 2025. Maruti Suzuki also opened bookings for the Victoris on the same day, and Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, confirmed to Acko Drive that the brand has received an average of 1,000 bookings per day over the past eight days.
During a media interaction at ongoing SIAM convention, Banerjee confirmed that the Victoris has received an immense response from customers, “without announcing the pricing or hinting at it”. Banerjee also confirmed that Maruti Suzuki is only accepting bookings for the ZXI MT variant currently, and bookings for the other variants will commence once the prices are announced next week. Interested customers can book the Victoris for a token amount of ₹11,000.
The Victoris is based on the same platform as the Grand Vitara, the Global C platform, but has been modified for the Victoris. It also has a starkly different design language compared to the Grand Vitara and comes with LED projector headlamps, connected LED taillamps, and aero-cut alloy wheels. It comes with 10 colour options, including three dual-tone options.
It is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a 1.5-litre petrol + CNG powertrain and a 1.5-litre strong hybrid powertrain. The first option is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic as well as an all-wheel drive setup with the automatic. The CNG is only available with a 5-speed manual, while the hybrid comes solely with an eCVT.
The Victoris is also the first Maruti Suzuki model to come with ADAS with features like automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring and more. It also gets a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.25-inch virtual instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, an 8-speaker audio system from Infinity by Harman with Dolby Atmos support and more.
Maruti Suzuki’s latest compact SUV enters a very competitive segment that will see it rival the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and MG Astor.
