The 19th Edition of the Indian Premier League will commence on 28 March 2026.
Vida, the electric mobility arm of Hero MotoCorp, has introduced the VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition, bringing together electric mobility and cricket-inspired design. The scooter was unveiled at the Knights Unplugged 3.0 event in New Delhi and will be available for retail through select VIDA outlets. The limited-edition model draws inspiration from the identity of the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise, blending sport and mobility in a way that targets younger, urban buyers and cricket fans alike.
The VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition stands out with its Knight Purple and Gold colour scheme, directly reflecting the team’s branding. The design also features a golden halftone gradient layered over a pearl black base, along with micro-dotted detailing.
One of the more symbolic touches is the inclusion of three accent marks, representing the three IPL championship titles won by KKR. The overall styling retains the standard VX2 Plus’ clean body panels and contemporary silhouette, complemented by LED headlamps, integrated indicators and distinctive daytime running lights.
Speaking on this development, Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer, VIDA, said, “The launch of KKR Limited Edition VX2 Plus reflects Hero MotoCorp’s approach of blending distinctive design with culturally relevant collaborations. By bringing together the bold identity of the Kolkata Knight Riders and VIDA’s electric mobility platform, the initiative adds a unique dimension to the brand’s engagement in the T20 season through meaningful cultural and sporting association.”

Alongside the launch, VIDA announced a new initiative titled ‘VIDA Electrifying Player of the Match’. Under this programme, a player from KKR will receive a customised VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition for every match the team wins. Each scooter will feature the player’s name and jersey number, and will be handed over during a post-match ceremony.
Specifications of the limited-run KKR Edition of Vida VX2 Plus are identical to the standard model. The VIDA VX2 Plus gets a 3.4kWh battery pack with two removable batteries that offer an IDC range of 142 km on a single charge. Powering this electric scooter is a 6 kW PMS motor which allows it to sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.1 seconds. As for features, the Vida VX2 comes equipped with LED lighting, turn-by-turn navigation, live ride data, a 4.3-inch TFT display and cloud connectivity with remote immobilisation.
