The teasers also confirm one colour option that the electric scooter will be available in.
Hero MotoCorp’s all-electric sub-brand, Vida, is gearing up to launch a brand new electric scooter on July 1. For this, the brand has released a series of teasers revealing the scooter. While we already know that the upcoming Vida VX2 will essentially be the Vida Z that was showcased last year in Milan at the EICMA 2024, the same was also spotted last month at a dealership without any camouflage in a bright yellow colour. But the latest teaser confirms that the Vida VX2 will also be available in red.
In addition to that, the Vida VX2 will also be available in a deep blue shade. As the scooter was showcased by Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor on his phone, while arguing with Anil Kapoor – wherein both were reprising their roles from the superhit movie “Animal”.
The Vida VX2 is expected to feature removable battery packs of 2 kWh to 3.7 kWh capacities. Additionally, it could also be available in three variants – Lite, Plus, and Pro. The asking price of the upcoming VX2 is expected to undercut the V2 series, which ranges from ₹74,000 to ₹1.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it an affordable alternative in this space. Therefore, the VX2 will also compete against the likes of the TVS iQube (base model), Bajaj Chetak 2903, Ather Rizta, and the Ola S1 series.
