VinFast has reorganised its portfolio into three brand lines and unveiled the ultra-luxury Lac Hong 800S and 900S, set for commercial launch in Vietnam 2027.

VinFast has announced the completion of its strategic restructuring into three distinct automotive brand lines and unveiled two new flagship ultra-luxury models, the Lac Hong 800S and Lac Hong 900S.

Under the revised brand architecture, Lac Hong represents VinFast’s ultra-luxury marque. The line now comprises the 900 LX, 900S and 800S models. The VF line continues to serve the mass-market passenger EV segment, covering models from VF 3 through VF 9, including the seven-seat VF MPV 7. The Green brand is dedicated to commercial and service mobility solutions, with products such as Limo Green, Herio Green, Nerio Green and Minio Green.

The newly introduced Lac Hong 800S and 900S expand the company’s ultra-luxury portfolio, complementing the 900 LX unveiled in 2025, including its advanced armoured derivative.

Inspired by Vietnam’s cultural heritage, both models feature a design language that integrates symbolic detailing and premium materials. Exterior elements include a grille with vertical slats inspired by bamboo and a wing-shaped emblem referencing the Lac bird. Design motifs drawn from the Dong Son bronze drum and terraced rice fields are incorporated throughout the exterior and interior. The Lac Hong wordmark is presented in a gold-plated alloy finish.

The cabins are appointed with Nappa leather, rare wood trims and gold-plated accents. Key features include zero-gravity executive seating, automatic power-assisted doors and premium entertainment systems. The Lac Hong 900S further offers a privacy partition, starlight headliner, large-format projection display and a foldable executive workstation for rear occupants.

Both vehicles are equipped with a fully active suspension system engineered for ride comfort and stability. A tri-motor configuration comprising one front motor and two rear motors delivers a combined output of up to 460 kW. The Lac Hong 800S and 900S are scheduled for commercial launch in 2027.

VinFast reported that it delivered 175,099 vehicles in Vietnam in 2025, maintaining market leadership for 16 consecutive months. The company currently offers more than 15 electric vehicle models and continues to expand its manufacturing footprint globally.
