Pre-bookings for the VinFast MPV 7 will begin from today onwards for a token amount of ₹21,000. Deliveries are slated to begin soon after the launch.
Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast has confirmed the MPV 7 will be the next major launch from the company, with the launch scheduled on April 15, 2026. Pre-bookings begin today for the new offering for a token amount of ₹21,000. Deliveries are slated to begin soon after the launch. The MPV 7 will be primarily for the private buyers, while the ‘Limo Green’ version, a re-badged version of the MPV 7, will be specifically sold in the fleet market.
The VinFast MPV 7 will join the VF 6 and VF 7, which went on sale last year, and the third EV enters the people mover segment as a three-row offering. The MPV 7 will be one of the longest models in terms of length, exceeding the Kia Carens Clavis EV, Mahindra XEV 9S and Toyota Innova Crysta.

The new VinFast MPV 7 measures 4,740 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm. The width and height measure 1,872 mm and 1,734 mm respectively. Power comes from a front-wheel drive (FWD) electric motor tuned for 201 bhp and 280 Nm of peak torque. 0-100 kmph comes up in under 10 seconds. The model is equipped with a 60 kWh battery pack and is expected to have a range of over 500 km (estimated) on a single charge. The MPV 7 will support fast charging as well.

On the feature front, the VinFast MPV 7 will come with LED headlamps, connected taillights, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The cabin gets an all-black look and come get a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, multi-function steering wheel with a column-mounted gear selector. You also get leatherette upholstery and a Type A and Type C USB charging ports at the front and rear. Other features include single-zone climate control, sliding and reclining rear second row seats, AC vents for second and third rows, cupholders for the third row, cruise control, and more. The steering wheel is adjustable for rake and reach.

In addition to the MPV 7, VinFast will bring the Limo Green variant to India, which has been revised for the fleet market. The automaker will be bringing GSM (Green and Smart Mobility), an electric taxi and ride-hailing service to India, and the Limo Green will be one of the most models to be sold under the vertical. The Limo Green version will rollout towards right after the MPV 7 goes on sale, albeit based on demand and requirements from GSM. It will skip out on a few features to keep prices competitive.
The automaker has over 50 dealerships across the country, along with 130 workshops (direct + indirect). The company plans to expand its lineup to 75 dealerships by the end of the year, further expanding its service network as well.
There’s no word on the pricing as yet but expect the MPV 7 to start from about ₹17 lakh onwards.
