Upon launch, the VinFast MPV7 will compete against the likes of Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMax 7. It will most likely be priced around ₹22 lakh (ex-showroom).
VinFast stepped into the Indian electric car market with the launch of VF6 and VF7 in September last year. The Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) maker is set to bring its third product soon. The company has teased the same on its social media handles. Although VinFast hasn’t mentioned the name anywhere, it can be safely assumed that the of the upcoming model from the brand will be the VF MPV7.
Also known as the “Limo Green” in select markets, including Vietnam, the seven-seater MPV7 will be based on the same platform as the VF6 and VF7 SUVs. This MPV has also been spotted testing on Indian roads recently. Upon launch, the VF MPV7 will take on the likes of Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMax 7.

The key distinction between the Limo Green in Vietnam and the VF MPV7 in India lies in their intended use. Although both models have the same dimensions and a seven-seat configuration, the Limo Green is positioned for commercial use and comes with a more basic feature set. The MPV7, on the other hand, is designed for private buyers and offers a higher level of comfort and convenience features.
In terms of design, the MPV is expected to come with LED headlamps, connected tail lamps, and VinFast’s signature lighting elements. Inside, it is likely to feature a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, along with both Type-A and Type-C charging ports. The driver’s seat is expected to be height-adjustable, while the steering wheel could offer both tilt and telescopic adjustment. Additional highlights may include leatherette upholstery, connected ambient lighting, keyless entry, and 19-inch alloy wheels.

The VinFast Limo Green on sale in Vietnam comes with a 60.13 kWh battery pack that propels a front-mounted electric motor. This motor develops 198 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. The NEDC range for the Vietnam-spec Limo Green is claimed at 450 km. We expect similar specifications for the India-spec VF MPV7 as well. Expect it to be priced around ₹22 lakh (ex-showroom).
