Ahead of its electric SUV launch, VinFast has joined hands with RoadGrid to build a robust EV ecosystem, featuring over 11,000 charging points and 120 service workshops.
VinFast Auto India, the Indian subsidiary of Vietnamese EV company VinFast, has joined forces with RoadGrid, a top provider of charging and aftersales solutions.
This partnership aims to create a strong EV ecosystem for VinFast, which is planning to launch two electric SUVs in India soon.
The partnership focuses on creating a seamless charging infrastructure. RoadGrid’s network, spanning multiple cities, integrates advanced charging solutions with digital platforms.
VinFast aims to leverage this to offer real-time charging access and diagnostics-driven services, ensuring convenience for EV owners across urban and highway routes.
VinFast plans to establish 120 extended service workshops nationwide before its first vehicle delivery, in collaboration with RoadGrid and other providers.
These workshops will feature advanced diagnostic tools, genuine parts, and trained technicians to deliver reliable aftersales support, enhancing customer trust and experience.
This initiative aligns with VinFast’s preparations for launching its VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in India before the festive season.
The company is also setting up a ₹4,180 crore manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, targeting an annual production of 1.5 lakh EVs, with exports planned to the Middle East and Africa.
VinFast’s collaboration with RoadGrid aims to streamline EV ownership by offering smart infrastructure and responsive services.
This move complements its earlier partnership with myTVS to establish additional service workshops, reinforcing its commitment to a comprehensive EV ecosystem in India.
