VinFast will establish 50+ e-motorcycle showrooms in 34 cities spanning 15 Indian states and union territories.
Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has signed Letters of Intent (LOIs) with its first 50+ dealer partners across 15 states and union territories in India to establish a dedicated distribution network for its e-motorcycle lineup.
The signing ceremony took place at VinFast's main manufacturing complex in Hai Phong, Vietnam, during an official working visit by the Indian dealership partners. The agreement marks a major milestone in VinFast's strategy to expand its retail footprint in the world's largest two-wheeler market.
Under the preliminary agreements, VinFast and its retail partners will collaborate to set up over 50 e-motorcycle showrooms across 34 cities. The network will cover key regional markets including Delhi NCR, Punjab, and Rajasthan in the North; Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh in Central India; Maharashtra and Gujarat in the West; Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh in the South; alongside West Bengal and Odisha in the East.

VinFast is targeting immense growth potential in India, where 21.41 million two-wheelers were registered in fiscal year 2025-2026, with electric two-wheelers accounting for just 6.54 per cent of total registrations.
Highlighting the region's importance, Vo Thi Cam Tu, Managing Director of VinFast E-Scooters Overseas Market, stated that India is a pivotal market in VinFast's global growth story due to its scale and rising demand for electric mobility. Anurag Saxena, CEO of VinFast India E-Scooters, emphasised that alongside showroom rollouts, the company is establishing dedicated charging infrastructure and strengthening after-sales support networks.
