Vietnamese carmaker VinFast’s electric SUVs get dearer in India.
VinFast has announced a price hike for its VF6 and VF7 SUVs, with prices rising by up to ₹1.13 lakh depending on the model and trim chosen.
The VF 6 range receives a uniform price increase of ₹90,000 across all three offered variants: Earth, Wind, and Wind Infinity. Following this revision, the VF 6 is now available at ex-showroom prices ranging from ₹18.19 lakh to ₹20.09 lakh.
The model features a 59.6 kWh battery pack delivering a driving range of up to 480 km on a single charge. Its front-mounted electric motor generates 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.89 seconds, with DC fast charging supported as standard.

The larger VF 7 electric SUV sees a price increase between ₹1.10 lakh and ₹1.13 lakh, depending on the variant. Offered across five distinct trims, the updated ex-showroom pricing for the VF 7 now spans from ₹22.99 lakh for the base configuration to ₹28.09 lakh for the top-tier option.
The VF 7 comes with two battery options, 59.6 kWh and 70.8 kWh, available in single-motor front-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive layouts. Front-wheel-drive versions produce 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque, while the dual-motor AWD versions output 345 bhp and 500 Nm of torque.
