VinFast India recorded 1,231 units in April 2026, as per Vahan registrations. The company had 739 units in March 2026. This marks a growth of 67 per cent month on month. VinFast India stood at rank four in April based on these figures.
The data is based on Vahan registrations, which track vehicle registrations across India. These numbers reflect retail sales. This means the figures show vehicles registered in the name of buyers. This method differs from the wholesale dispatch data shared by many other automotive companies in India.

VinFast India has entered the market with electric vehicles and with 3 already in it’s portfolio it plans to bring many more to the country and the next one will probably be an SUV. We wait to know more of the company’s strategy.
