Vivo on Wednesday launched its latest smartphone, the T4x 5G, expanding its budget T series lineup. The new smartphone succeeds last year's T3x 5G model and brings several notable improvements to the budget-friendly segment.
Available in Pronto Purple and Marine Blue, the T4x 5G comes in multiple storage options. The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 13,999, while the top-end 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs Rs 16,999.
Prospective buyers can purchase the device starting March 12 through Vivo's website, Flipkart, and offline retail stores. Launch offers include a Rs 1,000 discount for HDFC, SBI, and Axis Bank card holders during the first sale.
The device features a large 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, offering crisp visuals and responsive interactions. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, the T4x 5G houses a substantial 6,500mAh battery, which the company claims is the largest in its price segment.
This substantial power reserve is complemented by 44W fast charging capabilities, ensuring users spend less time tethered to power outlets.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, providing versatile photography options. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera sits within a punch-hole design, catering to selfie enthusiasts.
Durability is another key selling point, as per the handset maker. The phone gets MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification and IP64 ratings for dust and splash resistance.
The phone runs on Android with Funtouch OS 15, and Vivo has committed to providing two years of Android updates and three years of security updates.
