VLF Mobster 135 Launched At ₹1,29,999

Kolhapur-based retail network Motohaus has ushered in a brand new 125 cc scooter via its retail chain, `KAW Veloce Motors with the new VLF Mobster 135. While in European countries, the VLF Mobster is available with the choice of either a 125 cc or 180 cc, single-cylinder engine. In India, the VLF Mobster will be available with a 125 cc engine only. The new VLF Mobster 135 has been introduced in the country at ₹1,29,999 (ex-showroom), but that will be reserved for the first 2,500 customers – the asking price post that number is yet to be confirmed.  

For its price tag, the VLF Mobster 135 packs in quite the upmarket, premium body design that looks robust and edgy. The front apron is accentuated by those BMW S 1000 R-styled headlights, chunky road tyres, and exposed hardware and vents. As for its hardware, the VLF Mobster 135 comes equipped with a telescopic fork and double shock absorbers, and rides on 12-inch wheels wrapped by dual-purpose rubber. 

The VLF Mobster 135 is powered by a 125 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder mill that produces 12.1 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 11.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm. With a kerb weight of 122 kg, the Mobster can reach a top speed of 105 kmph, and it has an 8-litre fuel tank to keep you company. 

On the features front, the VLF Mobster 135 is loaded to the gills. Its 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity for all modern smartphone connectivity features is just the beginning. Keyless ignition, auto start/stop, LED headlights, and DRLs follow. 

The newly launched VLF Mobster 135 will compete with the TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Avenis, Yamaha Aerox 155, Aprilia SR125, and SXR125.
