This is the second facelift for the XC60 and is priced ₹1.15 lakh more than the outgoing version.
The Volvo XC60 has received a second facelift, which was launched in India at ₹71.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Compared to the previous version, which was priced at ₹70.75 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the facelift costs ₹1.15 lakh more. With this update, the XC60 gets minor cosmetic changes and a new feature, but no changes in the powertrain.
The updated XC60 gets a new grille, new alloy wheels and a darker taillamp design. In addition, it also gets new colours – Forest Green and Vapour Grey. Apart from this, the XC60 looks identical to the outgoing model.
Inside, not a lot has changed. It gets a new vertical 11.2-inch touchscreen, which still runs on Android OS and gets wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It gets new wood veneers – White Driftwood with White upholstery and Brown Driftwood with black upholstery.
Mechanically, the XC60 is unchanged as it continues with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with a mild-hybrid assist. It churns out 247 bhp and 360 Nm, and power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The XC60 rivals the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC (₹73.80 lakh), BMW X3 (₹75.80 - 77.80 lakh) and Audi Q5 (₹68 - 73.79 lakh).
