Much like always, small changes are expected on the sportiest Pulsar yet
Bajaj has teased a bike on their official instagram page, and we expect it to be the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. Here is what we anticipate with this update.
Bajaj has recently updated the Pulsar N150 and N160 with a new instrument cluster. We expect the NS200 to also feature a new instrument cluster. This will replace the analogue tachometer, which might look cool and nostalgic but with digital screens becoming all the more prevalent, it had to make way. The new unit is expected to be similar to the one seen on the N150 and N160.
With the new LCD instrument cluster, the Bajaj NS200 will get its long due update of Bluetooth connectivity. But unlike the smaller capacity Pulsars, we think Bajaj will go one step further and offer the NS200 with turn-by-turn navigation besides notification for calls and messages.
Along with the new instrument cluster, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is expected to receive a new switchgear design on the left switch cube. This will include an additional key needed to control the new instrument cluster and its various functions.
While the company is updating the Bajaj NS200 for 2024, we expect them to add LED lighting throughout the bike. It is likely that Bajaj will go for a full LED headlight and not a projector beam setup. Thus, the front end will witness some revision and give us a small glimpse of what to expect on the upcoming NS400.
Staying true to Bajaj’s tradition of color scheme updates, we believe that the 2024 Pulsar NS200 will receive a few new colors and graphics, thus keeping it a bit fresh.
Apart from the aforementioned changes, there would be barely any alterations to the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 in the engine department. The motorcycle is expected to retain the 199 cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 24.13 bhp at 9,750 rpm and 18.74 Nm at 8,000 rpm.
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 will see some improvements, which might lead to a slight price increase. Expect an increase of around Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 from the current ex-showroom price of Rs 1,49,363 in Delhi.
