Yerth Motors targets global expansion through strategic partnerships, ecosystem development, and a focused, innovation-driven approach to mobility solutions.
Yerth Motors Pvt. Ltd. has officially announced its entry into the global mobility segment, marking its debut with the establishment of a new Innovation Centre in Pune. The company positions itself as a forward-looking mobility brand, aiming to develop next-generation transportation solutions for international markets.
The Pune-based facility is expected to act as the core hub for research, engineering and product development, enabling the company to build scalable and globally relevant mobility platforms.
The company was founded by automotive veterans Ashish Singh Joshi, former CEO, and Imran Ismail Mulla, former CTO of Classic Legends Private Limited, a Mahindra & Mahindra subsidiary that manufactures Jawa, Yezdi and BSA motorcycles. Both founders bring extensive experience across engineering, product development, brand building and scaling mobility businesses.
Their combined expertise is expected to help bridge the gap between high-tech innovation and market-ready solutions. According to the company, this leadership team will focus on delivering mobility products that align with evolving consumer expectations while maintaining strong technical foundations.
Yerth Motors is supported by a strategic partnership with homegrown electronics manufacturer Micromax. Government filings reveal Sumeet Kumar and Vikas Jain, Co-founders of Micromax Informatics Limited, as the other two stake holders in Yerth Motors. It should also be noted that Rahul Sharma of Micromax had founded Revolt Motor, India’s most successful EV motorcycle manufacturing brand.
This collaboration is expected to provide the venture with significant industrial scale and technological capabilities. According to the company, this partnership will highlight an increasing convergence between automotive engineering and consumer electronics, particularly in areas such as connectivity, software integration and smart mobility solutions.
