This rapid expansion marks a significant milestone in the Bajaj-Triumph partnership.
Bajaj Auto announced the opening of the 100th Triumph showroom in Dehradun, India. This rapid expansion, which saw the network grow from just 15 showrooms in 9 cities before the Triumph Speed & Scrambler 400X launch to 100 outlets across 75 cities, marks a major achievement for the Bajaj-Triumph partnership in India.
The expansion follows another milestone announcement earlier this month when both the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X surpassed 50,000 sales across 50 countries, including major markets like the USA, Japan, Germany, the UK, and Australia. What made it impressive was that this sales milestone was achieved within just one year of its launch. Thus, the success of these 400cc offerings has been instrumental in driving the network expansion.

This extensive dealership network is strategically designed to provide Triumph riders across India with easy access to purchase their dream motorcycles, engage with the broader Triumph community, and receive after-sales service. Furthermore, Bajaj Auto has confirmed that the network expansion is set to continue its momentum throughout the year, suggesting we might see even more Triumph showrooms popping up across India in the coming months.

This expansion strategy aligns with the broader trend in the Indian motorcycle market, where manufacturers are increasingly focusing on tier-2 and tier-3 cities to tap into the growing affluence and aspirational buying in these regions. For Triumph fans and potential buyers, this expanded network means greater accessibility to the brand, potentially leading to increased sales and market share in the competitive Indian motorcycle market.
