The Mercedes-Benz GLC has been launched in India at Rs. 73.50 lakh
The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz GLC has just launched in India and with prices beginning from Rs. 73.50 lakh, the SUV is pretty expensive. While all its rivals are priced below Rs. 70 lakh, Mercedes-Benz India has, with this pricing, pushed the envelope in the segment. And if you thought that the hike in price would stop people from wanting it, well, the company has announced that it has received more than 1500 bookings for the car already. So clearly, there is a strong demand for the. car and the company is also offering great service packages for its customers as well.

Mercedes-Benz first launched the GLC in India in 2016 and since then it has managed to sell 13000 units of the SUV in the country. The GLC has been one of the most successful SUVs from the company's stable and with the new generation, the company thinks it still will.

The new GLC has grown in length and wheelbase and now comes packed to the gills with features. It is the first SUV to feature the all-new MBUX NTG7 tech and there are other features like the Invisible bonnet, which helps you gauge what's beneath the car when dealing with rough roads. It can do mild off-roading but if Mercedes-Benz India is also offering an off-roading package which raises the ground clearance and provides protection to the underbody.
Pricing the GLC on the higher side is a bold move by Mercedes-Benz India and we wait to see how the market reacts to it.
