The pricing for exotic Ducati super naked starts from ₹ 24.62 lakh
Ducati India launched the latest iteration of its fire-breathing naked motorcycles, the Streetfighter V4 and V4S. These Italian beasts will be available from March 12 at dealerships across our country . The base Ducati Streetfighter V4 starts at a cool Rs. 24,62,400 (ex-showroom), while the feature-packed Streetfighter V4S will be available in two colors Ducati Red and Grey Nero which will set you back by ₹ 27,80,000 (ex-showroom) and ₹ 28,00,000 (ex-showroom) respectively. This aggressive streetfighter is essentially a Panigale V4 minus the fairing, offering a more upright riding position and slightly less power from the monstrous engine.
Both the Streetfighter V4 and V4S retain the aggressive, sharp design that Ducati is known for. A pointed LED headlight leads the charge, followed by a muscular fuel tank and a sleek tail section. The base model comes dressed in Ducati Red, while the V4S offers a choice between Grey Nero and Ducati Red. The 16.5-litre fuel tank is now designed to offer better support to the rider during cornering and braking.
The 2024 Streetfighter V4 S comes loaded with features like Ducati Power Launch, Ducati Electronic Suspension, and auto-cancelling turn indicators. Customers can also add features like Ducati Data Analyzer+, GPS module, Ducati Multimedia System, anti-theft system, and heated grips.
As expected from a Ducati, the electronics suite is comprehensive and has been further enhanced for the engine side of things. There are four riding modes - Full, High, Medium, and Low. The Full and Low modes have been recalibrated, with Low mode limiting power to 157 bhp and offering a gentler throttle response. A new ‘Wet’ mode is introduced, similar to Low mode but with softer suspension settings for better grip in slippery conditions. All these are controlled through a new colour TFT display.
The 1103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine gets a tweaked calibration and there is a larger silencer designed for reduced exhaust back pressure. This manic engine still produces a phenomenal 205 bhp and 123 Nm. Making it among the most powerful production naked bikes on sale. It's paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a recalibrated bi-directional quickshifter for smoother gear changes. Ducati offers a 24-month unlimited mileage warranty with service intervals every 12,000 km.
This is where the V4 diverges. The standard Streetfighter V4 utilises fully adjustable Showa Big Piston fork and a Sachs monoshock for suspension duties. Upgrading to the V4S gets you an electronically adjustable Ohlins NIX30 front fork and an Ohlins TTX36 monoshock for a more premium ride.
Both models utilise twin 330mm discs up front and a single 245mm disc at the rear for braking, with dual-channel ABS keeping things under control. The Streetfighter V4 gets 17-inch alloy wheels, while the V4S boasts lightweight aluminium units. Both come wrapped in sticky Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa 2 tyres.
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 goes against the Triumph Speed Triple RS and Aprilia Tuono V4. While the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S takes on the BMW S 1000 R and Kawasaki Z H2.
