The basic styling of the Sport variant is unchanged, but it comes in an exclusive Racing Red colour.

BMW Motorrad has launched the F 450 GS Sport in India at ₹5.90 lakh (ex-showroom), completing the adventure motorcycle's variant lineup. The new Sport variant has additional performance-oriented features, upgraded suspension, and exclusive styling elements that differentiate it from the other BMW F 450 GS variants. The base variant of the F 450 GS retails for ₹5.35 lakh, the Exclusive variant for ₹5.55 lakh, and the top-spec GS Trophy is priced at ₹6.15 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

The biggest highlight of the BMW F 450 GS Sport is that it offers riders adjustable suspension, which for improved handling and greater control across varying riding conditions. The Sport variant also comes equipped with Gear Shift Assistant Pro (quickshifter), which allows clutchless gear changes, and Riding Modes Pro. It also skips the ERC (easy ride clutch) for a 6-speed manual transmission. The basic styling of the BMW ADV bike remains unchanged but the Sport variant comes in an exclusive Racing Red colour scheme. It also features a clear Rallye windscreen, black hand protectors, off-road footrests, and a plastic engine guard, giving it a more purposeful adventure-ready appearance.

Mechanically, the F 450 GS Sport uses the same twin-cylinder engine producing 48 bhp and 43 Nm as the rest of the lineup. Other features include a 6.5-inch TFT display with connectivity functions, ABS Pro, Dynamic Traction Control, Dynamic Brake Control, and Engine Drag Control. The other big change with the Sport variant over the Exclusive variant is that you get adjustable suspension for rebound and compression.

At the time of the first ride review, we had said that BMW Motorrad should have launched the Sport variant in India as it offers all the kit of the GS Trophy variant while offering the option to skip ERC, and we are happy that it listened to our feedback. However, with a ₹6 lakh (ex-showroom) sticker price, this variant will remain a premium offering and won't be setting the sales charts on fire. Royal Enfield will also soon be launching the Himalaya 750, and Norton will launch the Atlas by early 2027.
