We can expect some new electric offering as well.
It’s become a habit for Hero MotoCorp to unveil something new or the other at the most popular show in Milan, EICMA. Continuing that practice, Hero will repeat the same this year too and the brand has lined up slated four new motorcycles. Here’s what we expect will be showcased:
One of the most anticipated models from Hero for quite some time has been a new improved version of its most capable bike, the XPulse. While that is finally happening, sadly it's not as per our expectations. So, the upcoming Hero XPulse will be powered by the same liquid-cooled 210 cc engine as found in the Karizma, which is good for 25.15 horses and 20.4 Nm. However, Hero MotoCorp might tune the mill to suit the off-roader’s character. So, improved performance with enhanced off-road capabilities are some of the key aspects we can expect.
Inspired by the futuristic-looking Xtunt 2.5R concept showcased at EICMA 2023, Hero is developing a new sub-250 cc naked motorcycle. This streetfighter is expected to feature a larger version of the Karizma's engine, which means more power and torque. With sharp styling, aggressive ergonomics, and the latest features, this new naked motorcycle will compete against the likes of the KTM 250 Duke and TVS Apache RTR 310.
In addition to the new motorcycles, Hero is expected to unveil a more affordable variant of its Vida electric scooter. This move will help broaden the appeal of electric mobility and should make it accessible to a wider range of customers. However, exact details of the same are still under wraps.
