This update brings subtle yet significant enhancements to both the exterior and interior.
Mercedes-Benz India has unveiled the refreshed EQB electric SUV, with a new entry-level EQB 250+ variant exclusively for the Indian market at ₹70.9 lakh. While the EQB 350 4Matic has been launched at ₹77.5 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, India).
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB sports a new black panel and redesigned LED taillamps at the rear, connected by a light bar that integrates with the DRLs. A newly designed bumper adds to its modern aesthetic. Despite these updates, the overall design remains largely similar to its predecessor. Mercedes-Benz offers customization options, allowing customers to choose from new colour schemes and alloy wheel designs, adding a personal touch to their vehicle.
Inside, the updated EQB boasts a new steering wheel equipped with touch control panels and a 10.25-inch infotainment system. Seating for five comes as standard, with a reconfigured mono-multipurpose camera and a new backup camera enhancing safety and convenience. The driving assistance systems have been upgraded, notably with an active lane keep assist that now utilises steering intervention instead of ESC.
The driver can personalize the display layout with three styles—Subtle, Sporty, and Classic — and three modes — Navigation, Assistance, and Service. The MBUX voice control function has also seen improvements, ensuring more intuitive and responsive interactions.
The EQB 350 4Matic variant features a dual-motor setup, delivering a combined output of 288 bhp and 385 Nm. The EQB 250+ gets a single-motor setup with 186 bhp and 520 Nm. Both variants have a 70.5 kWh battery, promising robust performance and efficiency.
