The electric scooter is now available at ₹84,900
On the eve of the 2024 World EV Day, Greaves Electric Mobility has announced a special offer for its electric scooter. The Ampere Magnus EX has received a price cut of ₹10,000, which brings the pricing of the electric scooter down from ₹94,900 to ₹84,900 (ex-showroom). Interestingly this isn’t the first price cut that the Ampere Magnus has received as the company had reduced prices of the electric scooter back in May, 2024.
The Magnus is the most popular electric scooter in Ampere’s portfolio and this price cut prior to the festive season can be seen as an initiative to boost sales further. The company had recently launched the new Ampere Nexus, which is its flagship electric scooter. The Ampere Magnus EX has a claimed range of between 80-100 km and top speed of around 53 kmph. In comparison, the Nexus has a top speed of 93 kmph and a claimed range of 136 km.
Greaves Electric Mobility also recently announced that it had signed Indian cricketer, Axar Patel as its brand ambassador . The company is also expanding its dealership reach to push sales further.
