This is the first price hike the BMW ADV has received since its launch in April, 2026.
BMW Motorrad has silently hiked the pricing for the F 450 GS. The price hike comes within 5 months of the ADV motorcycle going on sale in the Indian market. While the German brand hasn’t given out any official quote for the jump in price, we think it’s owing to the higher input costs. The price hike for the base and exclusive version has been hiked by ₹25,000 and both the motorcycles now retail at ₹4.95 lakh and ₹5.15 lakh respectively (both prices are ex-showroom). The top-spec BMW F 450 GS Trophy now will set you back by ₹5.60 lakh, a significant price hike of ₹30,000.

Despite the hike in pricing, there has been no cosmetic or mechanical updates made on the BMW ADV offerings. The new F 450 GS will be the new entry-point to BMW’s GS lineup globally after the G 310 GS was discontinued last year. It is built on an all-new platform developed jointly by BMW Motorrad and TVS Motor Company. The ADV is locally built in India at TVS Motor’s Hosur-based facility and also exported globally.

The BMW F 450 GS is powered by a 420 cc parallel-twin engine that delivers 48 bhp at 8,750 rpm and a peak torque of 43 Nm at 6,750 rpm. It is paired with a six-speed transmission, along with an assist and slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter. There are three ride modes on offer with the F 450 GS as standard — Rain, Road, and Enduro — with a fourth mode called Enduro+ offered in Executive and GS Trophy trims. The GS Trophy variant is also offered with ERC (easy ride clutch) transmission which acts as an automatic transmission once the first gear is engaged thereby ensuring the bike doesn’t stall.
