A USD fork and new colours could be part of the changes on the new sport Pulsar.
Bajaj has teased that it is set to update its sporty full-faired Pulsar – the Pulsar RS200 – for 2025. These will be the first round of substantial updates since the bike debuted in 2015. While details about the exact nature of the updates, and the launch date are still under wraps. We can make a few educated guesses based on the kind of changes its naked sports sibling, the Pulsar NS200, gained in 2024.
For starters, just like the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, the upcoming 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 can also gain the new Bluetooth-compatible full digital LCD instrument cluster. This backlit unit will come with several connectivity features like call/SMS alerts, notification alerts, etc. Along with that, it should also support turn-by-turn navigation as well.
On the mechanical front, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 might carry over as it is without any changes to its output figures, just like the Pulsar NS200. This means it might retain the same 199.5 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 24.1 bhp and 18.7 Nm of peak torque.
Bajaj might also update some of the hardware components of the Pulsar RS200. Like the telescopic fork of the bike with a USD fork, as we saw on the Pulsar NS200. Other than that, the monoshock and braking components might be kept as it is.
What remains to be seen is how the bike is stylised. The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 was a beefy machine that looked dramatic with its dual-projector headlamp design. The face of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 changed last year with the introduction of the new LED headlight. Will Bajaj be able to replicate the same on the Pulsar RS200? We should know more about it soon.
