Ducati has launched the new-gen Streetfighter V4 in India. The flagship naked streetfighter is available in two trims: V4 and V4 S, priced at ₹28.68 lakh and ₹32.38 lakh respectively (both ex-showroom). To be available as a fully-imported CBU, Ducati says that deliveries of Streetfighter start immediately across India.

2025 Ducati Streetfighter V4, V4 S: Design & Ergonomics

Essentially a stripped-off version of the Panigale V4, the new Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S carry forward a similar styling as its predecessor with its signature twin-pod LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights. Like the new Panigale, the seventh-gen Streetfighter now gets a new biplane wings enhancing aerodynamics by adding 17 kg downforce at 270 kmph.

Visual highlights like the double C-shaped taillights and muscular 16-litre aluminium fuel tank have been carried over from its fully-faired sibling. Besides looks, the Bologna-based superbike brand has also tweaked the ergonomics of the new Streetfighter by bringing the handlebar closer to the rider by 10mm and positioning the footpegs lower and more forward. Finally, the underbelly exhaust is visually lightened by the large exhaust openings on both sides.

2025 Ducati Streetfighter V4, V4 S: Powertrain

Powering the new Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S is a 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine derived directly from Ducati’s MotoGP program. This Euro 5+ compliant powerplant delivers an exhilarating 214 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 120 Nm peak of torque at 11,250 rpm, offering a class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 1.13 bhp per kg. Further, there are four ride modes to select from: Race, Sport, Road and Wet, to alter traction and performance levels.

Weighing in at just 189 kg for the V4 S and 191 kg for the standard V4, the motorcycle promises razor-sharp performance with exceptional agility. For those seeking even more adrenaline, the optional Ducati Performance by Akrapovič exhaust system boosts output to a staggering 226 bhp, making the Streetfighter V4 lineup one of the most powerful naked superbikes ever built.

2025 Ducati Streetfighter V4, V4 S: Hardware

As we already know, the Streetfighter gets the same underpinnings as the Panigale V4. Hence, it gets a new main frame which is 21% (3.47 kg) lighter than its predecessor. There’s also Ducati’s new hollow symmetrical swingarm that claims to improve stability and traction by cutting down unsprung mass. However, the biggest highlight is the suspension setup. The standard V4 comes with a Showa Big Piston upside-down fork at the front and Sachs mono-shock unit at the rear.

On the other hand, the Streetfighter V4 S gets more premium components in the form of a fully adjustable Öhlins NIX30 fork and a rear TTX36 shock absorber with Smart EC 3.0 which are aided by an electronic steering damper. Braking duties are carried out by Brembo Hypure monobloc callipers. The V4 S rolls on forged aluminium wheels whereas the standard trim gets simpler five-spoke light alloy wheels. The former also benefits from  sticky Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres.
