From new features to styling updates, here are some of the key changes made to the Honda Activa 125.
The Honda Activa 125 has been revised for 2025, with small styling tweaks being just the tip of the iceberg here. There are a bunch of new features on offer now which puts the 2025 Activa 125 on par with its competition. Additionally, it has also become slightly more powerful than before. Here’s what’s new:
Honda has not tampered with the conservative design ethos of the Activa 125 that has become synonymous with the family scooter. Instead, the marque has made a few nips and tucks to the existing aesthetic for a slightly more sleek and premium appeal. The most visible change is with the new squarish headlight design, which looks quite traditional. The turn indicators mounted on the front apron have also been updated for a sharper profile. Both are adorned by chrome embellishments, which come together quite nicely. However, the addition of brown seats and inner panels as standard helps enhance its premium quotient factor.
The most eye-catching upgrade has to be the new fully digital 4.3-inch TFT cluster that the 2025 Honda Activa 125 debuts. It supports Honda’s RoadSync app, which in turn unlocks turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alert, and music control – all of which can be operated via a small joystick on the left handlebar. And finally, Honda has also included a USB Type-C charging port onboard that should come in real handy to charge our electronic devices.
Yes, as we said above, the Honda Activa 125 has become slightly more powerful than before. The OBD2B-compliant 123.92 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled mill now produces 0.1 bhp and 0.1 Nm more, output now rated at 8.31 bhp and 10.5 Nm. While these gains are not substantial enough for a dramatically different performance. We can expect a minute change in the scooter’s overall riding behaviour, especially when it comes to acceleration. Hopefully that doesn’t affect the engine’s refined character and its efficiency figures.
Lastly, all of these changes have come at a price which makes the 2025 Honda Activa 125 nearly ₹7,000 dearer than before. The base Honda DLX trim is now priced at ₹94,422, while the top-spec H-smart trim will set you back by ₹97,146 (ex-showroom, Delhi). In this price range, it will continue to have the likes of the TVS Jupiter 125 and Suzuki Access 125 as its key competitors.
