The new KTM 250 Duke has undergone both feature and aesthetic updates.
After the KTM 200 Duke, the KTM 250 Duke becomes the latest to receive some much needed refreshment to become better looking and more feature-rich than before. Consequently, the bike has also become expensive, and at ₹2.45 lakh (ex-showroom price, Delhi), it's ₹5,000 more expensive than before. Moreover, the updates have brought the quarter-litre naked sport on par with its elder sibling, the KTM 390 Duke. How so? Read on.
Starting with the first major update. From here on, the KTM 250 Duke will also sport the same sharp, aggressive headlight design from the 3rd gen KTM 390 Duke. This new unit sees the DRLs fitted in separate panels flanking the central headlight unit, which comes together to give a loud yet sophisticated on-your-face appeal. This was not the case before, and the DRLs were just body painted panels.

Moving on, just like the KTM 200 Duke, the new KTM 250 Duke also gains the latest 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with bonded glass protection from the KTM 390 Duke. The advantage of this new unit is that it comes with Bluetooth connectivity, and via KTM’s My Ride app, you can also access turn-by-turn navigation and view call/SMS or notification alerts. With different console comes different switchgear, and the 4-way menu switch on the left handlebar from the 390 Duke makes its way here, too.
Beyond these two crucial updates, the KTM 250 Duke remains the same. It continues to be available with the same three colour options - Ceramic White, Electric Orange, and Atlantic Blue, being the last new addition earlier this year. The 30 bhp/25 Nm 250 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine has also remained untouched. How does this engine perform, and should you get the new 2025 KTM 250 Duke?
