Suzuki has officially unveiled the 2025 iteration of its flagship hypersport motorcycle, the Hayabusa at ₹16.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The updated model brings minor but notable changes, focusing primarily on its electronic rider aids and cosmetic offerings. However, in India, the 2025 Hayabusa receives only cosmetic tweaks and colour additions, while the electronic updates are limited to the global markets.
For the 2025 model year, Suzuki has introduced enhancements to the Hayabusa’s cruise control and launch control systems. The cruise control system now allows riders to change gears without deactivating the cruise setting—an update that is expected to enhance long-distance touring comfort. Additionally, the launch control system has been revised with a tweak in engine speed parameters, although Suzuki has not disclosed specific figures regarding the adjustment.
On the aesthetic front, the Hayabusa is now available in a new matte green paint scheme accented with titanium highlights. This fresh colour joins the existing palette of metallic matte black and metallic silver with blue accents, both of which have been carried forward from the previous model year.
Despite the updates, the core mechanical components remain unchanged. The Hayabusa continues to draw power from a 1340 cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The powerplant delivers 187 bhp and 150 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 6-speed transmission and comes equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter as standard.
The motorcycle retains its aggressive aerodynamic styling and a suite of advanced electronics, including multiple ride modes, traction control, and cornering ABS.
