Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift: LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI+ Variants Explained

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza has long been the default pick in the sub-4m SUV space, and the facelifted 2026 New Brezza sticks to a formula buyers already know: four trims — LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ — but with a fresh twist under the bonnet. Before you walk into a showroom, here's exactly what each variant gives you, and where your money is best spent.

The New Brezza is priced starting at ₹7.39 lakh in India (ex-showroom). The prices for all variants have not been announced yet. It is offered with three powertrains, starting with a 1.0-litre Turbo Boosterjet (K10C) petrol engine making 109 bhp and 170 Nm, paired only with a 6-speed manual. The familiar 1.5-litre K15C petrol Smart Hybrid produces 102 bhp and 139 Nm, offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters. Finally, the 1.5-litre S-CNG runs the same block on gas, dropping to 85 bhp in CNG mode, with a 6-speed manual.

The new Brezza has received a five-star BNCAP safety score, which applies to all variants.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Variants: LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI+

LXI is the entry point. It covers the essentials — six airbags, ESP, hill-hold assist, three-point seatbelts for all occupants, electrically adjustable mirrors, and front power windows — but skips the touchscreen entirely. It's the honest, no-frills Brezza.

VXI is where it starts feeling modern. You get a 7-inch touchscreen with ARKAMYS audio, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted controls, four speakers, and an onboard voice assistant. With the turbo option, VXI also adds auto climate control, a rear defogger, and electrically foldable mirrors.

ZXI will be the sweet spot for many buyers. It has the electric sunroof, dual-LED projector headlamps with floating LED DRLs, a TFT colour MID, wireless charging with active cooling, push-button start, cruise control (on the turbo), a 60:40 split rear seat, roof rails, and a smoke-chrome grille. A PM2.5 cabin air filter replaces the basic anti-pollen unit.

ZXI+ is the flagship, and it's meaningfully more than a badge. Exclusive kit includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen with ARKAMYS Surround Sense, 360-degree HD cameras, ventilated front seats, a head-up display, 64-colour ambient lighting, auto-folding and auto-dimming mirrors, and Next Gen Suzuki Connect telematics with over-the-air updates and built-in Alexa. Crucially, the full safety suite — blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, safe-exit warning, and front parking sensors — is standard here, whereas on the ZXI these features are tied to the turbo engine.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza With 1.0L Turbo Engine: Fuel Efficiency

This is the broadest of the lot: the turbo is available across all four trims — LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ — only with the 6-speed manual. Maruti claims 20.47 kmpl on the LXI and VXI, and 19.96 kmpl on the ZXI and ZXI+.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza With 1.5L Engine: Fuel Efficiency

The 1.5-litre choice splits three ways. The petrol manual is offered in LXI, VXI and ZXI trims, with a claimed 21.09 kmpl. The 6-speed automatic skips the base LXI and is sold only in VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ options, rated at 20.17 kmpl. The S-CNG manual is available in LXI, VXI and ZXI, but not ZXI+, and returns a claimed 26.90 km/kg. 

The practical takeaway: if you want the top-spec ZXI+, your only choices are the turbo manual or 1.5 automatic.

Verdict: Which Brezza Variant to Buy?

For most buyers, the ZXI will hit the value peak — sunroof, LED lighting, wireless charging and PM2.5 filtration, without paying for the flagship. If you want the 360-degree cameras, ventilated seats, and the big screen, the ZXI+ is worth the stretch, but remember it demands either the turbo or the automatic. Enthusiasts should sample the turbo manual, while high-running city commuters will find the S-CNG (ZXI) hard to argue against. The VXI turbo remains the smart middle ground.

Whichever variant you choose, every Brezza carries a 3-year/1,00,000 km warranty, extendable up to six years.
