Besides these two upgrades, the rest of the bike has remained the same as before. Built on the same platform that can be traced back to the GSX-8S naked bike, the V-Strom 800 DE distinguishes itself with a new sub-frame. The frame rests on an adjustable USD fork at the front, and a rear monoshock. Even feature-wise, the V-Strom 800 DE is filled to brim all the necessities that makes it ideal for both touring and some occasional off-roading. From different ride modes with a dedicated Gravel mode to traction control, bi-directional quickshifter, and a low-RPM assist to prevent the bike from stalling, the V-Strom 800 DE gets it all. “These updates focus on offering more choice while staying aligned with evolving government norms and rider preferences,” noted Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd.
