The updated Land Cruiser is available in two variants and now gets ADAS.
Toyota India has launched the updated Land Cruiser in India at ₹2.31 crore (ex-showroom, India). The Japanese manufacturer recently paused bookings for its full-size luxury SUV but has now re-opened them, while also revealing the price for the updated version. Unlike earlier, the Toyota Land Cruiser is now available in two variants – ZX and GR-S.
Variants | Price (ex-showroom, India) |
---|---|
Land Cruiser ZX | ₹2.31 crore |
Land Cruiser GR-S | ₹2.41 crore |
The updated Land Cruiser will come to India as a completely built unit (CBU) model, imported from Toyota’s home market, Japan. With the refresh, the Land Cruiser gets Level 2 ADAS functionality as well as connected car tech. Other features include a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, head-up display, a 14-speaker JBL-tuned audio system, a 360-degree camera, and more.
The GR-S variant gets a sportier body kit with more focus on off-roading. The front and rear bumpers slightly alter the approach and departure angles but that’s not the only off-road-oriented features the GR-S packs. It also has an off-road-tuned suspension with different shock absorbers, front and rear differential locks, and smaller alloy wheels for better ride off-tarmac.
Both the variants are powered by a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine churning out 304 bhp and 700 Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission. As for colours, both only get two options – Precious White Pearl and Attitude Black. Both get the option of an all-black cabin theme, while the ZX has an option of a beige cabin and the GR-S also gets a black and red option.
