2025 Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid Launched With Colour TFT At ₹1.50 Lakh

The Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid has been updated for 2025 with the addition of a new TFT console and a Matte Titan shade. Priced at around ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) it is pricier than the Yamaha FZ-X Chrome variant by ₹8,000, thereby making the former the most expensive FZ-X till date. 

Besides these two additions, the rest of the bike has remained the same. It continues to be powered by the same 149 cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 12.2 bhp and 13.3 Nm. Since this is the FZ-X Hybrid, it carries forward the same Smart-Stop-Start function as well which aids improving fuel efficiency. 

The FZ-X's design has remained the same, too, with the same metal body and classic round LED headlight design. The new 4.2-inch TFT console is placed above the headlight, which is good for turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS, and e-mail alerts. Other standard features that have continued from before include traction control and single-channel ABS. 

Yamaha launching the FZ-X with the TFT console follows a trend in the two-wheeler industry wherein several OEMs have opted the same as well. Honda, for example, has updated its commuter bike and scooter portfolio with TFT consoles. Is Yamaha too late to the party then? Sales figures in the coming months will reveal the same.
