The launch of the bike was postponed due to ongoing geopolitical conflict.
Classic Legends has revealed that it will launch the updated Yezdi Adventure on June 4. The bike was previously supposed to launch on May 15, but was postponed due to the India-Pakistan conflict. As for the update, Yezdi will focus on enhancing the bike’s appearance for a distinctive design which will help its case to stand out in the adventure bike segment. As shown in the teaser, there will be a new asymmetric LED face, kind of similar to the old BMW F 800 GS.
The manufacturer had already updated the bike last year both mechanically and aesthetically. So, while the new Alpha-II, 334 cc, liquid-cooled engine producing 29.6 bhp and 29.8 Nm will remain the same. There might be more tech to be found on board, though.
Currently, the Yezdi Adventure is priced from ₹2.10 lakh onwards and depending upon the colour option you choose it can set you back by ₹2.16 lakh (both ex-showroom prices, Delhi). Will Classic Legends change the pricing structure of the bike with the upcoming update, remains to be seen. Eitherway, it should not affect the Yezdi Adventure’s strategic position in the market wherein it slots between the affordable Hero XPulse 210 and the KTM 250 Adventure as well as the Royal Enfield Scram 440.
