2026 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Updated With Slipper Clutch

Royal Enfield has introduced two practical upgrades for the 2026 Classic 350, adding a slipper clutch and a USB Type-C fast charging port. Both these updates were earlier introduced on the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and the Hunter 350.  These new features are available on all dual-channel ABS variants, with prices starting at ₹1,87,434 (ex-showroom).

The addition of the assist and slipper clutch makes the motorcycle easier to ride by reducing clutch effort, particularly in stop-and-go traffic. The heavy clutch action was one of the biggest pain points on the Classic 350 and it’s good to see this being resolved. Another useful update is the inclusion of a USB Type-C fast charging port, allowing riders to conveniently charge smartphones and other compatible devices while on the move.

Mechanically, the Classic 350 remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by Royal Enfield's 349 cc J-series single-cylinder engine delivering 20.2 bhp of power and 27 Nm of torque. The powerplant comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Visually, the Classic 350 carries forward its signature retro styling and no updates have been made on the cosmetic end. 

The updated model is offered in nine colour options and is now available across authorised Royal Enfield dealerships in India.
