TVS Motor Company has updated the Apache RTR 160 4V by introducing more features into the lineup. The refreshed range is now on sale across dealerships in India, with prices starting at ₹1,25,440 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The company says the latest changes are aimed at improving rider safety, night-time visibility and overall control, while keeping the motorcycle’s core performance character intact. The updated Apache RTR 160 4V now features a Class-D projector headlamp with LED DRLs, a full LED lighting setup including LED turn indicators, and an assist & slipper clutch as standard across the range.

TVS has positioned the update as part of its wider “Track to Road” philosophy, under which technologies developed through racing are adapted for everyday use. That approach has long been central to the Apache brand, and the company continues to use it as a key differentiator in the premium commuter-performance space.
The 2026 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V continues to be offered in three variants: a Single Channel ABS model, a Dual Channel ABS model with USD forks, and a top-spec USD variant with TFT display. Each variant carries a distinct equipment mix, ranging from a digital LCD cluster in the lower trims to a 5-inch TFT screen in the flagship version. Adjustable levers are offered from the middle variant onwards, while traction control and a TFT instrument panel remain exclusive to the top trim.

Other novel features on offer include radial tyres for improved grip, TVS SmartXonnect with turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts, and a hydroformed handlebar for sharper handling and better rider confidence.
Colour choices also differ by variant. The entry-level version is available in Matte Black and Racing Red, while the middle variant adds Granite Grey and Pearl White. The top model comes in Matte Black, Racing Red and Marine Blue. The price ladder runs from ₹1,25,440 to ₹1,37,440, depending on the trim.
Mechanically, the motorcycle remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 159.7 cc engine that develops 17.31 bhp and 14.73 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox
There are three ride modes to choose from — Sport, Urban and Rain — which alter the level of performance.
The naked streetfighter is built around a double cradle chassis, supported by a telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with tubeless tyres. The Apache RTR 160 4V has a kerb weight of 146 kg and comes with a 12-litre fuel tank.
